SOCALGAS

Digital and social media were always a key component of every campaign we developed for SoCalGas. It was the ideal vehicle to reach its diverse customer base, generate engagement and action, and drive customers to the website where they could find tips and more information about the company’s different initiatives. Below you’ll see pieces developed to promote some of those initiatives.

california tobacco control program

These pieces were part of a digital and social media campaign to help people quit smoking. The approach was different this time. Instead of instigating fear, we acknowledged their battle to quit and wanted to motivate them to keep fighting. We tapped into the insight that our audience is used to fighting hard for the things they want to accomplish in life.

Copy: I’m a fighter. I have attempted to quit 3 times. We help you win. Keep fighting.

Copy: You’re not giving up. You’re defeating it. She tried to quit 4 times.

This webpage takeover was part of the environmental campaign we called Street Art (see it here). It was taking over the CTCP page while the campaign run. The art director and I were very proud of this one. It came out the way we envisioned it. The two digital banners below were also part of the effort.

Headline: Free yourself from cigarettes.

This digital piece started as a print ad. The funny part is that it was supposed to be a sketch, a reference to take a photo and then do all the retouching. But the illustrator did such a good job, that the client, and everyone else actually, fell in love with it. So not only did run as a print ad, but we ended up doing a webpage takeover.

banner health

For Banner Health, we did dozens of social media pieces. Every week was a different theme, not only related to Banner’s services but about topics that were important for everyone’s health, from Alzheimer’s disease and breast cancer to how to keep a healthy heart. I learned a lot. These three IG stories were part of a series created to raise awareness of Banner’s services and benefits. Though they are basically copy, it was fun to write them and give them some creative flavor.
